She began teaching in Berne (Switzerland) in 1984
and has been coaching Swiss top skaters and members
of the national squad ever since. Since the day
I took my very first steps on the ice at the age
of 6, I’ve been coached by Jacqueline Kiefer:
back then when I was still slipping on the ice,
as now that I am competing with the top senior skaters
in the world. However, she has not only taught me
how to skate, but she also takes care of me at competitions
and helps managing my career.
From Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands
to Slovenia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Romania,
Croatia, Denmark, Finland and Norway; from the States
and Canada to Russia, China and Japan: it was in
those countries that Jacqueline Kiefer has taken
care of me once or even several times during training
camps, has come along with me to competitions and
has supported me all the way. Therefore, I want
to thank her sincerely.

Michèle Colberg, 25/10/1943
choreographer
Michèle Colberg was also a competitive
figure skater and became Belgian junior champion
when she was 13 years old. Later on, she skated
as a soloist in the Deutschen Eistheater (German
ice theatre), the Wiener Eisrevue (Vienna
ice revue) and “Holiday on Ice”.
Michèle Colberg, who is an expert
in spins and choreography, has been teaching
in Berne (Switzerland) since 1987. Like
Jacqueline Kiefer, she coaches Swiss top
skaters and members of the national squad.
Michèle Colberg taught me my very
first scratch spin as well as the flying
sit spin, and she also choreographs all
of my programmes. Merci beaucoup!
